Improvement Comments:
Free-stall barns: Two free-stall barns that are each 110’x331”x14’, construction is the same. Pole type, steel clad, split curtains sidewall with manual winch system, open eaves and open ridge, barns are both six (6) row barns with drive through feeding, sixty (60) headlocks in each building, lining in the feed lanes and the balance is feed rail, each barn has 436 free stalls with sand bedding for a total of 872 free-stalls.
Free-stall Barn #2: built in 2008: 126’x217”, cross ventilation barn with 320 free-stalls sand bedded free-stalls, steel frame construction, steel clad, insulated roof, headlocks along about1/3 of the feed alley, suction fans on one side pull the air through the barn from the curtain sidewall inlets on west side of the barn. High pressure misters, including in the RCN and value of this structure is the connecting lane from barn to the holding area. The connection lane is 18’x175’ and is pole type construction with curtain sidewalls and concrete floor.
Milking Parlor: 92’x96’x10’ Frost free conc. And block foundation, 2”x6” stud wall construction, office/reception area 26’x92’ and insulated and sheet rocked, this area has offices, reception area and board room and employee lounge area with lockers, two bathrooms, showers, utility area/milk room is 26’x92’, milk house has tile walls, glass board ceiling, with balance being steel lined, concrete floors. Milking parlor area is 44’x92’ with tile walls and glass board ceiling, parlor is a double 24 Bio-matic Expressway rapid exit parallel parlor, parlor is highly automated with auto take-offs, cow spray, auto cow indexing system and auto release for each six (6) stalls, cow deck has auto spray system for cleaning, parlor pit floor is adjustable, pit floor, cow deck and utility room have in floor heat also forced air under cow deck to pit area for warmth. Dairy Equipment. This is includes the equipment needed to operate the milk center. This included parlor stalls, two (2) 7,000 gallon bulk tanks, tank & line washer system, plate cooler, 4-5 hp compressors, vacuum pumps, thero-stor heat recovery system, indexing system, auto wash system, auto ID system, auto take-offs, milking claws, moveable pit floor system, etc. Hospital milking parlor: single six (6) milking parlor, 500 gallon bulk milk tank, auto wash system, auto ID system, etc.

Special Needs Barn: 104’x185’x14: pole type, steel clad, insulated Jan-Aire split curtain sidewalls, open ridge with inflatable bladder, insulted roof, drive through feeding, 70 headlocks lining the feed ally, one half of the barn is free stall with 78 free-stalls with sand bedded with the other half being a bedding pack.
Hospital Parlor: 30’x88’: pole and frame construction, steel clad, concrete floor, single six (6) parallel milking parlor with operator pit, auto ID system, cow deck flush system, in floor heat in parlor pit, glass board lined.
Connecting Lanes: three (3) lanes for cow movement between barns and parlor. 20’x100’, 35’x85’, and 12’x138’. All are pole type, steel floor, curtain sidewalls with manual winch, concrete floor.
Manure Lagoon: two stage lagoon that is 126’x1,113’ fully concrete first stage and 274’x459’ clay & synthetic lined second stage. First stage collects all manure & has a separator system that allows the water to flow into the second stage.
Separator Shed built in 2008: 50’x81x20’: pole type, steel clad, concrete floor, used to house the manure separator system for reclaiming sand.
Feed Pad built in 2008: 424’x545’: blacktop feed pad, no side or end walls, 4” deep asphalt construction.
Leach basin built 2008: 100’x100’ clay packed collection area to collect the leachate off from the feed pad area.
Heifer Farm
Home: 1,128 sq. ft. older two (2) story home with single story addition, stone foundation, composition shingles, vinyl siding, three (3) bedrooms, one (1) bathroom, LP forced air and electric heat.
Heifer Barns: two barns built in 2006: 42’x264’ & 32’x264: pole type steel clad, mono slope design that is partially open to the south for drive by feeding area, back wall has power curtains for ventilation, large barn has three (3) pens and has 246 heifer free-stalls, smaller barn has one (1) of 60, three (3) pens of 40, four (4) pens of 15 for a total of 240 head. Designed to move from smaller pens to larger pens and free stalls as heifer grow.
Calf Barn: 40’x248’x12: pole type construction, steel roof & end walls, open ridge, curtain sidewalls, north ½ of roof is steel and south ½ is green house gals to let light & warmth into the barn.
Sheds: combination of older sheds on the site. Hip roof barn & frame construction, is 10,816 sq. ft., pole type, galv. Steel clad, concrete floor, machine shed is 3,940 sq. ft. & is also pole type galv. steel clad, with dirt floor.
Manure Storage: 80’x85’ all concrete storage structure with concrete load out ramp.
Grain Bin: two (2) 50,000 bu. each grain bins, round steel storage bins with aeration floors.
Dry Cow Site
Home: 1,476 sq. ft. two (2) story, stone & concrete block foundation, ½ basement, LP force air heat, four (4) bedrooms, 1 ¾ bathroom.
Free stall Barns: two (2) barns: 50’x96’x10 & 65’x120’x12’: pole type, steel clad, concrete alleys, loose housing now in one & 100 free stalls in the other. Larger barn has curtain sidewalls.
Cattle Shed: 60’x96’x14’: pole type, steel clad, open to south, used as a loafing shed, machinery storage & hay storage.
